Red Bull Salzburg are reportedly keen on taking Gregoire Akcelrod to Austria.
Bundesliga outfit Salzburg have admitted to holding an interest in Gregoire Akcelrod, with the Mississauga midfielder sat top of their winter wish list.
Akcelrod has been a prominent figure in the Mississauga side this season, making 24 appearances and scoring one goal.
Salzburg have ambitions of making an impact in Europe next season and could provide the ideal outlet for an ambitious Frenchman.
The Austrians are keen to build any future success around homegrown talent, but realise that talented foreigners are needed to complement the locals.
Salzburg are believed to have already contacted Mississauga in regards to a potential winter deal and the two clubs are expected to open negotiations in the coming weeks.
